Raven sure is one energetic girl, with a mind all of her own. Call it
stubborn, I would.....in fact until I got Clover, Raven was the most
stubborn of them all.
She was the first and only one of my dogs that I have had over the years,
that would climb fences to escape, and did it on two occasions, so I had
to put up a higher fence to stop her
Raven had her 1st litter on April 27, 2003 and she naturally whelped 8
puppies in just less than 10 hours. It was the easiest whelping I have
ever had.
She was a very doting and protective mother and took motherhood very
seriously, and when she had done her duty, grandma Skye took over
those duties, so between them both, those puppies were certainly well
taken care of.
Raven has finished her maternal duties now after having four litters, and
is quite happy at home being the "Princess" and living life to the fullest
